Securing pedestals
In modern exhibition scenography more and more open pedestals are used. The desire is to have no disturbing elements between the visitor and exhibit. To provide the necessary safety, largely invisible safety devices are required. These must be variably usable.
Various securing components can be used to secure platforms. The most effective is the use of laser scanners. These build an invisible curtain around the pedestal. In a few cases, HDF-TOUCH capacitive sensors with strip-shaped sensors underneath the pedestal are also used, but in this case the pedestal must be made of non-conductive material (e.g. MDF or wood).
